We presented "Anne of Green Gables" during the 100th Anniversary of the original book, by Lucy Maude Montgomery's, release. It is the tale of middle aged siblings who live at Green Gables in Avonlea who decide to adopt an orphan boy to help on their farm. Through a series of mishaps they end up with a girl - Anne Shirley.

 

Anne is bright and eager to please but is dissatisfied with her name and appearance. However, being a child of great imagination, she takes much joy in life and adapts quickly thriving in the environment of Prince Edward Island.

 

This is a marvellous story with splendid characters - our family show for 2008 promises to delight audiences of all ages with its innocence and charm!
