Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls

By Philip Dean

Directed by Elisabeth Gertner

This witty, powerful play plugged into the larger world of Australia in the Sixties through the journeys of two women, giving the audience the chance to participate in quite a deep emotional experience. The use of the music of Patsy Cline and other well-known Country singers emphasized the courage in the lives of the women and their world.

A country tour was planned following the close of the season at Beaumaris.
