On Sunday 20th April Beaumaris Theatre celebrated 55 years as a theatre company, 50 years at our currrent venue, and launched our new logo and slogan, "Theatre For All", designed by David Bowler. To mark this momentous occasion we hosted a brunch at the theatre. Guests included several of our Life Members, representatives of the Victorian Drama League and other theatre companies, the Beaumaris Theatre Committee, and friends and supporters of our theatre. The formalities included a sharing of memories of people who had been involved with Beaumaris Theatre through the decades, and a summation of where Beaumaris Theatre has come from and what we are aspiring to for the future, by president Janine Chugg. Special thanks must go to all who made the occasion such a success. Coming soon ... scenes from that morning.
