2013 Season

The Odd Couple

By Neil Armstrong | Director Peter Newling

This classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assemble for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it's no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born.

Mandy Lay received a Victorian Drama League nomination for Best Actress in a Minor Role and Melissa New won the award for Best Actress in a Minor Role. Stephen Shinkfield took home the award for Best Leading Actor in a Comedy, Matt  Mirams was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy and Peter Newling was nominated for Best Director! We also won an Adjudicators Award for the Revolving Stage!!

Happy Days

Music & Lyrics by Paul Williams | Book by Gary Marshall

Director Debbie Keyt | Musical Director Rhonda Vaughan | Choreographer Camilla Klesman

Goodbye gray skies, hello blue! Happy days are here again with Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph and the unforgettable "king of cool" Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli. Based on the hit Paramount Pictures television series, Happy Days, A New Musical reintroduces one of America's best loved families, the Cunninghams -- yes, Howard, Marion and Joanie are here too -- to a whole new generation of kids and parents.

The famed drive-in malt shop and number one hangout, Arnold's, is in danger of demolition. So the gang teams up to save it with a dance contest and a TV-worthy wrestling match. Even Pinky Tuscadero, Fonzie's childhood sweetheart, returns to help and -- lo and behold! -- they rekindle their old flame.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Conceived by Rebecca Feldman | Music & Lyrics by William Finn | Book by Rachel Sheinkin

Director & Choreographer Leah Osburn | Musical Director Malcom Huddle

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
