Delving into the music of Tim Finn is a dream pursuit for any aficionado of eighties tunes, so it has been a delight to embrace this new choreographical adventure - once again alongside my dear and talented friends Debbie Keyt and Rhonda Vaughan- to discover the score of Ladies in Black.

Rose Chambers is making her Beaumaris Theatre debut in Ladies in Black this March. We asked her to step into the spotlight so we can get to know her better.

What was your first role in the theatre? (on stage or off)? My first role in the theatre was a lost boy in my school’s production of Peter Pan!

It is truly captivating and the music and singing is beautiful with amazing voices, heartfelt lyrics and some very comical moments too. You will laugh and you will cry and you will relate to something or someone in almost every scene.

Step inside the doors of the theatre, and it's a different world. Every common area hums with action, collaboration and laughter. This is one of the many rehearsals for the inaugural Beaumaris Theatre Monologue Festival. For three hours, a colourful crew of creatives flit through the building, each bringing to life a unique story.

Here we are in June, halfway through the year. What a delightfully busy six months we’ve had. Throughout the last few months, we’ve had three shows overlapping and Beaumaris Theatre was abuzz with theatrical activity, which is just the way we love it.
